More about the artist:
As an artist, I believe in the power of media as an extension of our human senses. Media provides a way to reach beyond our physical limits and into the public domain. At present, my artistic work focuses on digital representations of the human form and its connection to the physical world. I work to explore the intricate relationship between humans and their surroundings, which become increasingly digital.
My process begins with the scanning of heads and faces, capturing their unique dimensions and characteristics. These digital scans serve as the foundation for my creations, enabling me to make them tangible through the art of 3D printing. The resulting sculptures, intricately crafted and tangible, become vessels that bridge the gap between the digital and physical realms.
I don't confine these sculptures to static environments. Instead, I take them into diverse settings where I rescan and rephotograph them. This serves a twofold purpose: it captures the evolving relationship between the human form and its surroundings, and it challenges the conventional boundaries of portraiture.
These images, born from the fusion of the human form, technology and its environment, unveil a synthesis through which I aim to evoke a sense of interconnectedness and highlight the profound impact our environment has on our identities and experiences.
